Salzburg Chocolate Werks

Salzburg Chocolate Werks sells upscale German desserts. SCW’s “Reserves” chocolate box features an innovative structural design solution for a new line of chocolate bow ties. Luxuriant dark blue and gold foil graphics reference the look and feel of the Vienna Succession, one of Germany’s most celebrated aesthetic movements. A vibrant photograph of blue salt creates an almost jewel-box like presentation.

The back of the chocolate box features an unsung hero: custom nutrition labels. The lesser-used horizontal nutrition layout allows for a cleaner look while adhering to government guidelines. This level of design care ensures that the package feels upscale from every angle, despite having to comply with visually-obtrusive requirements.
